For chapter 8, I wanted to show that Thomas is starting to get confused as he bounces from one universe to another. I also wanted to amplify how insane Ann is. I answered some of the questions from chapter 7 as I also try to mold and move the story along for the following chapters as I introduce some motive..

One of the motivations I had doing this chapter is challenging myself into creating a good enough video clip using a tape-less pocket size camcorder – around 4 inches by 2 inches. It was kind of embarrassing at first as the actors saw me pulling this out of my pocket. It really makes one doubt the legitimacy of the shoot. As you can see in the still picture, I used a Sanyo Xacti HD1 which has gotten horrible reviews. I shot the clips in High Definition MPEG-4 (1280×720). 2 days before the shoot, I dropped mine in the ocean while kayaking with my son. Luckily, I have friends who are gadget freaks like me so I was able to borrow the same exact model camcorder I wanted to shoot with.
